December 13th, 2025 – Rockhampton, Manderson's Dance Centre - marked a milestone moment for three dedicated Fiesta Loca Central Queensland dancers, and it’s one we are incredibly proud to celebrate.
A massive congratulations to Bernadine Daley, Christine Krebs, and Charm Moorhouse, who all undertook their Dance Medal Examination for Bronze in American Latin. Adding an extra layer of achievement, Charm Moorhouse also completed her Bronze Medal Examination in Standard (Ballroom) on the same day — an impressive feat that speaks volumes about her commitment, versatility, and work ethic.
What a Dance Medal Exam Really Represents
For those unfamiliar with the medal examination process, this is far more than “just a test.” A Dance Medal Exam represents months — often years — of consistent training, technical refinement, musical understanding, and personal growth. It requires dancers to demonstrate:
Correct technique and posture
Timing and musicality
Confidence and presentation
Understanding of syllabus figures
The ability to perform under pressure
Stepping into an exam environment takes courage. Performing in front of an examiner requires trust in your training and belief in your preparation. Bernadine, Christine, and Charm did exactly that — and did it with composure and professionalism.

Gratitude to an Outstanding Mentor

A heartfelt thank you must go to Justyn Manderson, Syllabus & Technical Dance Instructor from Manderson’s Dance Centre in Rockhampton. Justyn’s guidance, technical insight, and encouragement played a pivotal role in preparing these dancers for their examinations.
It was genuinely wonderful to see the culmination of that work on the day — the calm confidence, the clean execution, and the sense of pride shared by teacher and students alike. This is what strong dance mentorship looks like.
More Than Medals — It’s About the Journey
At Fiesta Loca Central Queensland, we believe medals are not just about certificates or levels. They are markers of personal achievement, resilience, and growth. Each exam represents a dancer choosing to challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zone, and aim higher than before.
Bernadine, Christine, and Charm should be immensely proud of what they achieved — not only for earning their Bronze medals, but for the dedication it took to get there.
And now the question naturally arises…
What does next year bring?
Could Silver be on the horizon? 👀✨
Whatever the next step may be, one thing is certain — this group has proven they have the foundation, mindset, and passion to keep progressing.
